Vision and Purpose

Blessed Life Fellowship is a church dedicated to enriching and equipping the saints for developing in Christ, advancing the Kingdom of God, growing healthy and happy families, and helping God's people to enjoy His covenant blessings.

While we will endeavor to be a well-rounded church teaching the whole counsel of God, we believe that God has called us to specialize in three primary areas:

1. Teaching the saints how to walk in faith.
2. Growing healthy and productive families.
3. Equipping the saints for the mission of advancing the Kingdom of God in power.

To that end, we believe that the Covenant blessings of Abraham described throughout the book of Deuteronomy are now made available to all people - not just the Jews - through the finished work of Jesus Christ, as described in Galatians 3. While we endeavor to be well-taught in the Word on a variety of subjects (i.e. God's judgment against sin, the importance of righteous living, the importance of perseverance through hard times, equipping the saints for evangelism, etc), the over-arching theme of our church is to instill the truth of John 10:10, which is that Jesus came to give us life, and that more abundantly. And it is not just theory. We are living it and experiencing it!

Thus, a large part of our ministry niche and vision under the umbrella of point #1 above is to re-introduce the saints to their covenant relationship with God -- a concept that has been largely lost or distorted in contemporary Christianity.

Blessed Life Fellowship was born out of the need to provide a church in Columbus where the spiritual gifts are welcomed but not abused, where there is an atmosphere where people can really connect with God in worship and to one another in fellowship, and where people are not manipulated to worship in a certain way.
